I've heard that when they open their beak really wide and stretch their neck out they are adjusting their crop. Anyway, all my chicks made this move and most were not roos.

I know this is an old thread, but I’ll argue this. My opal legbar is 10 days old and already crowing. It’s autosexed, and I know it’s a boy, and I watched it and heard it crow twice today! I’ll do my best to get video for proof. It can happen.no chick would even be thinking of crowing at this age
