Is anyone else feeling the desperation???

Thanks, Mrs Fluffy! Every time we crack one of those suckers to eat I think "I hope those chicks have really good egg teeth!!".

Is it bad that I find myself staring at incubators for sale all the time and I only have three eggs, first time, in right now?? Sigh... Hubby is going to kill me. Of course that's what he gets for telling me I needed to get a hobby!

I can't decide if I should keep the rooster and use him or if his coloring will not be a benefit for the hens. He is getting more and more color as time passes and I am enjoying the change as he matures but??? The question is should I keep him for these splash hens? I am new to this color game.

The flash sort of washed him out.. he is getting lovely coloring.

If your camera "washed him out" and he already looks that stunning, seeing him in person must be a breathtaking experience!!!

Thank you for such a nice compliment

I have the luxury of watching him grow out and mature so I don't have to make any rush decisions. I am very tempted to order more eggs from the same breeder group and see what comes of it ... gotta keep the incubator full. If I keep him as a breeder rooster then I think he needs more than just a few hens to be really happy.
