Is anyone else going to have a hatch on Dec. 30th?

thanks , and i think me and some folks on chat figured out what the roo is , since the hens are rir white leghorn cross , we figure the roo is EE rir cross since they came from same place

Ours id done hatching, an all black silkie!!!!!!...I'll post pictures shortly....

i want more silkies i have a buff or red , roo and hen and a black roo with silver or grey around his neck , and i would like some frizzles

Another pip! Chick is all dry and in the brooder. S/he was tearing open another egg. But I'm hearing more peeps so hopefully the others will go as quick as the 2nd pip/er.

So far

1st pip @ 4:44 still in the egg and no progress.
2nd pip @ 7 something (have to go back and look at the post) hatched @ 1:33am so s/he is a new years eve baby
3rd pip @ 2:34am still no prgress

Just curious, what makes you so interested in silkies? I would love to have them! I plan on getting my daughter one of easter.
