Is anyone else hatching all winter long?

I've got 9 chicks so far, 1 incubator full, 1 incubator with 13 eggs in it, a broody sitting on at least 6 eggs, an another broody sitting on two duck eggs and a serama egg. The ducks and serama chick will be seperated from the broody and I'll give her another batch to hatch. I'm planning on using my broodies to hatch out as many chicks as I can, much easier than having to do hand turning and worrying about humidity!

:| OK! Ya'll help me out here a little bit. Did I understand someone wrote something about a market for these chicks?

I'm going to continue until I think I'm ready to stop.

Yeah like such a thing is possible right? Seriously, I'm going to hatch things that are part of my projects, the egg swap eggs and also some more layers for my flock. That's it that I have planned. Its subject to change at anytime and I've learned never to put a specific plan in stone with me. I never listen to it.

I had planned on stopping by now. But im trying to get a good batch of new silkies and OEGB to add to my flock for spring and i want to hatch a bunch so I can have plenty to grow out and choose from. Still want to hatch a few more ducks, like to keep my freezer stocked. I would say im not hatching any more to sell or just for the sake of hatching til spring. I have 2 shipments plus the Nov Swap shipment of eggs coming. Not planning on buying any more eggs, just hatching what i have in sm qty.

I remember when I lived in Florida, and how cold 60 and 50 at night seemed! Now 30 is cold no matter where you are, (except maybe Alaska!), but it won't stay that cold for long, I'm sure!
