Exactly. Their customer base isn't liberals.They'll ease into it like the other lux brands are doing too. Performance hybrids. Like the Porsche 918 Or the Merc AMD GT 63 S E. Where they're using the electric to hammer early torque to the ground while the ICE winds up to it's powerband. We'll Get M hybrids when BMW is really ready to get into the game as more than a trend. They're testing that at the track now in their IMSA V8 M hybrid. I don't think we'll see the higher end brands ever develop practical EV's, because their owner base wants zoom zoom and vroom vroom. I could maybe see a modest range 911 EV from Porsche, maybe even some Audi or Lambo from VWAG. But that market sector bleeds 93 octane and they will have ICE models at the front of their brands for the forseeable future.
It will be interesting to see if this proposed ICE ban in 2035 in Europe sticks. That will be telling on how all these brands look forward with their products and try to hold on to their markets.
