Is anyone hatching on the 15th?

Quote:
My chicks hatched at 54% no higher than that-temp was 100-101-this am it was 98.8-bleah so I turned it up before work-hope it's ok-but at 54% humidity my chick was very wet coming out of the egg-so it seems my humity was fine..if that makes you feel better??

I use a dry hatch method and I never hatch at a humidity higher than 50% I always have great hatching rates.

I always open eggs that do not hatch and they are never developed. In 20 hatches I have never had a chick to die or not hatch. I am not sure why but I seem to have great luck.

I believe it is beacuse of the lower humidity and my awesome bator (Roll-X) which keeps the temperature dead on when I set it.

Every hatch I worry, but don'y bother the eggs too much. I candle on day 4 (to look for veins) day 14 to (look for movement) and listen on day 20 for peeps!

I open my bator more than reccommended as I turn them manually and even pick them up on the last day to listen and everyone hatches fully developed!

I moved my silkie eggs to the hatcher last night. I was sent 6, all 6 developed, and 4 made it to the hatcher. HOpefully I can get at least 3 to hatch. Wish me luck!

Also, my call duck eggs are on day 25 today, and I have 2 pips so far.

You guys are making me so anxious to get home and check out my little ones!!! It is times like this that I am glad I spent extra for a bator with a fully viewable top!! I have 4 d'uccle eggs that I hope will start piping tonight (day 19!) they usually hatch on day 20 for me.
