Ok, just clarifying it wasn't something peeps thought we have now and would be losing during this upgrade.

You can "watch" the forums that you are interested in. Go to the forum that you want to watch and click on the watch forum link near the top. It is under the Post New Thread link. There might already be a way to do this (I'm not the most savvy user), but it would be nice if there was a way to personalize the threads that show up in the new or recent posts (if you wanted to filter out the games, for instance). I often don't have time to visit each forum individually, and this site is so vibrant and active that I'm sure I miss a lot. It's wonderful that the forum is so active I can't keep up with it. I'm on a few other non-chicken forums that only get a handful of new posts a day, if that. A big thanks to all the folks who keep things updated and functioning properly.![]()

If the notifications are working correctly, yes, if they are not, just click on the watched forums link that can be found in the drop down box under the ... next to the search forums link in the white bar. Thanks! I'll look into that. Would I then get notifications every time someone posted in those forums?
Yes, typically, unless something happens and the alerts break... but I get an alert every time someone starts a new thread in the forums I am watching, it doesn't tell you every time someone posts (you might be able to do that but your alerts would blow up) and any threads you are interested in, just watch those individually. Thanks!
