Is it a bad sign for an internal layer/ egg yolk peritonitis?

Marry Christmas to you,too!
I diffenitely keep updating sometimes. Now she is fine and stable, even though she is molting like a crazy chicken!

I didint know the egg layer chickens have a lot of health problem until now.
That makes sense though...

Thank you for your very kind words, shabana!

Hi enola,

Thank you for thinking of Deckie!

Her abdomen is enlarged again, which started 5 days ago.
I have given her 250mg penicillin for 5 days.
I noticed that her poops were greenish again, but the sizes were normal.

She was molting a lot but now I see a lot of new feathers are growing.

I will load some pictures of her tomorrow. :)

Her abdomen is kind of hard and really full now, which worries me a lot.

She only eats mealworms for now.

Most of the time she spends in the nesting box where she found in the living room.
I will also load the picture of it too.

I'm sorry to hear Deckie is having problems again. It sounds like she is comfortable with all the nice things you are doing for her. She's a very lucky chicken.

Thank you, Viollettt! I think that she is not lucky to be honest....Taking her to a vet would be the best way for her to save her life.
but she may be little lucky because I don't work so that I can pay attention to them. :)

Another bad news is that Bumpy is also feeling well, either. She eats little, but not as usual. her poops are greenish, but normal size.... She put her head down and closes her eyes and sleep a lot. Although It happens often because she has suffered from pendulous crop..

Deckie's abdomen is harder than ever now... She tries to lay an egg constantly for several days, which really worries me now.

Some feather around her vent started to grow more .... She breaths harder now.

Deckie spends a lot of time here to poop it out.

Making me sad to watch her breathing with discomfort, not move neither jump she used to..

Giving her human calcium doesn't work unfortunately. Bathing is not what she wants now... so I just keep watching her.

Yes I understand about the vet. But maybe a vet could not do anything else but take your money. I do know she is in a good place and to me that is very lucky. I wish it was different for her and you.

Violet tt, thank you for your kind words.

Deckie is getting weaker and weaker now.
I am little too sad to do anything..

I gave Baytril to her today. After that she pooped greenish liquids and ate some fresh crickets. But she puked a bit.

I don't know what to do..
