Our 8 year old Boxer/Basenji mix has started to pee inside the house.
We've tried many times to be ready at the backdoor when she walks to it but she always ends up peeing right in front of the door.
She does have joint issues.

She does go outside if we force her out there way before she needs to pee.

Is she peeing indoors due to age or her joints??

It sounds like she may have a urinary tract infection. Can you take her to the vet?
But she isn't straining like my cat with UTI does. She also doesn't have blood in it like UTI.
And besides, my parents won't take her to the vet unless something serious is happening which they don't consider this
