I had someone call and want to barter eating eggs for red seed potatoes! Done deal!!! I also bartered hatching eggs for new fencing work for my goats I just got!!!!

I trade eggs with friends all the time. I get fresh produce from a master gardener (and she bags her "trimmings" for the chickens too) I have gotten game meat from a hunter friend and some of my kids friends have done chores around the "farm" all for some of those fresh eggs the girls keep kicking out.

Of course, what kind of a friend would I be if I didn't share the chicken litter too!

I trade eggs for shrimp

My neighbor is in the shrimp business - according to his math 20 lb of shrimp (heads on, which is around 12lb headed) = 2 dozen eggs.

Woah, shrimp for eggs... Awesome! I love them with the heads too. I lightly bread them in flour and pepper and pan fry them. Shell and heads it looks weird but tastes great.

I do trade my homegrown tomatoes for steaks from a teppanyaki restaurant my friend owns.

THIS actually occurred to me, if I get desperete enough. Kinda think the vendors would thin I was a little strange though.

Okay I will try the nearest CL with my city and HOPE someone is interested. I let you know how it goes. I get about 8-10 a day now.

I actually have yet to sell eggs, we use them to barter for all kinds of stuff. Weekly, I exchange with a local baker and a fella down the road for raw milk, but we've made all kinds of exchanges. Just ask, I bet you'll be surprised!
