Is it going to hatch???

I have an green egg that is suppost to hatch today, but I haven't heard any cheeping or seen it movement or anything?

I tryed candling it, but I couldn't see anything threw the green shell. Any advice would be GREAT! Thanks so much.

sometimes it takes longer. I had some eggs take 25 days to hatch! Try tapping on the glass. immitates the hen pecking the egg. I even cheep at mine and gently shake the bator. Just to let them know some one is there waiting. Sounds crazy but I swear it helps!

The egg that is suppost to hatch today is under a broody hen ...

I just went out there to check on the egg, and I got it and taped on it and I though I heard it chirp, but I don't know for sure because all the birds are singing, it could have been them ...?

This time of year could also delay an eggs hatch. If the temp is a lil low it will delay the hatch date. Just keep an eye out so the hen won't leave the egg alone to long. I'm sending good hatching vibes!!!!

So just keep an eye out. Isn't is suppost to cheep? I mean I've had lots of other eggs that would cheep even before they had a pip!
I dunno why this egg isn't chirping or noth'in?

On mine most did, but some I never hearda thing from. I was worried but in the end almost all hatched. Unfortunately only time will tell.

UPDATE!!!!!!!! I just went out there to check on the egg and I picked it up and started tapping on it and guess what ?????????
It chirped and I could hear it pecking inside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can hear it pecking and chirping at me! It sounds more like a baby crocodile then a baby chick! LOL

It still doesn't have a pip yet but it will probably hatch tonight, and I'm never going to be able to go to sleep ...

I was holding the egg and I started tapping on the egg and it started pecking even faster and started chirping at me!

So in the morning hopefully I'll have a fuzzy lil' chick waiting on me! Keep your fingers crossed for me please ...
