Is it lacing correctly?

Ok, two people have pointed it out so how does it look like a roo? It's only 2 weeks old in the pictures. I haven't had anything but single comb birds so I don't know what to look for there. I didn't think the feathers could tell until they were older. If it's a roo I can return it, they guaranteed female. Not liking the feathering will only be a bonus excuse. My only hesitation about returning it is that it might be used for further breeding. I don't really know I'm just so irritated so I'm imagining the worst. Thanks again everyone.

WizChick,

The Reddish bar of feathering in the bar of the wing? The is a indication that is a male, Hens don't get that bar..
(The bar of the wing is the middle)

Well "he's" between 8 and 9 weeks old now. Is "he" still a Roo?

I just saw someone else's post with 6-week-old BLRWs and their roo's combs were much larger.
Thanks

I would sex it as a hen. The saddle feathers look rounded, and I believe this breed the roosters aren't hen feathered. a roosters saddle feathers would be angular. I hope this is helpful. Im getting ready to incubate my own set of red laced blue wyandottes.
if you go to ILOVEFRIZZLES webpage they have plenty of pics of the hens and roos.!

She's very pretty! I have some BLRW around that age too and most of them are boys. The boys have big wattles and pea-combs (or whatever that is called). I think your hen is prettier than my hens though. I have some roosters that would be very interested in dating her if you lived closer!
