Well, you gotta understand:
1. Chickens poop, a whole lot and often.
2. Chickens like to scratch the ground outside.
3. Chickens are pack/group type animals, happy with others like themselves.
4. Would you want to be a boy/girl without a boy/girl around, just an old human for company???

I suggest reading a book on chickens from your library. Research before you buy anything. Take it from one who learned the hard way.

id say anyone wanting a rooster is just a glutton for punishment having to hear that thing crow all the time lol. if hes in a coop i dont see why lol.

I, too, wish there was a RAISING CHICKENS FOR DUMMIES book that just came out, available at amazon.com and BN.com or your local bookstore!!!!!!
