Is it possible for chickens to change color?

Hey all!

We recently acquired a chicken that was an escapee from a chicken truck. When we got her 2 months ago, she looked like the first pic. Then about a week ago, we noticed her front and rear change to a beige color. We gave her a bath just in case it was dirt, but then we took a pic after we noticed that was just her color. I know these factory chickens are different, but I was just checking to see if that was "normal" or not. She is probably eating healthier than she ever has in her life!

How old was she when you got her compared to the color change? Mine changed as they got older and went through their juvenile moult.

She's a Cornish X, so naturally it will get very dirty and gross, the "beige" color is just filth and staining. They normally are solid white and don't change color.
