is it true that brahmas live for up and over 10 years, and lay for most of their life???

been looking for a small group for a while, and saw an advertisement for a trio..but the hens are 5 years old. so i asked do they still lay..they guy said brahmas lay their entire lives? so before i fork out good money for them..can someone confirm or bust that statement?

Yes, it's true. Brahmas can live into their teens and lay until about 10 years old.

    Lovely docile huge birds.
