Maybe only try half. If you overshoot your target it could be problematic. After all if you ended up 7' it could be difficult collecting eggs as you could end up banging your head on the coop. Good height for changing lightbulbs though!!

Well my LF sumatra lay smallish eggs, since they are still growing I was thinking I should scramble my first egg up and feed it to them shell and all..... But this new research has me thinking I shouldn't.

Yes, that's all they fed me when I was a kid. My Dad's name was Shorty. He ate bantam eggs.
