Is it typical for large hens to lay tiny eggs?

My 23 week old pullet has laid 3 pretty blue eggs 3 days in a row. I'm really excited but also disappointed that the eggs are teeny, tiny.
With 3 in a row the same size, is it possible that this is the size egg she's going to lay permanently?
She's the same size as my red sex links that lay large to extra large eggs.

Most pullets take time for their body to get used to their cycles, just like puberty with people. Her eggs will get larger in time, and it is totally normal to get funky eggs, small, bumpy, shelless, even once they level out! I love pullet eggs, we got one that was the size of a silver dollar once.

Thank you for your reply.

Now that you mention it, I remember when I was a kid that my father used to get pullet eggs from a chicken farm. I never knew what a pullet was (thought maybe they 'pulled' the egg out :)). I guess he was just buying smaller eggs that were less expensive!

X 2 - totally normal. Just enjoy the adorableness that is the pullet egg.....only takes about a dozen to make a serving for one, lol.
