My little chickies are coming up to 3 weeks old now. Both are growing well, eating well, and generally being brats.
The feathers are taking their time to come in, and certainly the CL is more advanced than the BS.
But on the Buffy we have feathers on the wings. There are even visible dark markings on them.
BUT they look cream to me.
So do they get darker with time? Will they moult again and come in dark? Or was I sold a Light Sussex egg?
Please don't get me wrong: LS were on my wishlist anyway, and so long as it's a hen she stays! But I sooooo wanted a buffy!!!!
