Is my Cuckoo Maran a roo?

Okay everyone! I’m the original poster who showed y’all the pic of my cuckoo maran. I suspect it is about 8 weeks old. Most of you told me it was a roo, but I honestly don’t think I can say that it is. Here are some pics I just took tonight. What do you think?

See I’m just not sure, because hens have red combs too. Like this pic I found on the internet, similar to others I’ve seen.

Your boy is only eight weeks old, and the photo is of a hen. Another clue is his lighter barring, because the pullets and hens are overall darker in color.
