Is my duck lonely??

If she was raised with the chickens from the time that she was a duckling, they are now 'her flock', and she probably identifies more as a chicken than as a duck. I have had hen raised ducklings that never joined the duck flock. If she was part of a duck flock, another duck hen would provide the company she is missing.

That is the case and she seems happy I have a container that I fill with fresh water about once a week and she love that but I'm new to keeping fowl and u want to know their loneliness warning signs just in case

I have call ducks, chickens and turkeys all out and about together here. However, one duck has decided she prefers the company of a few chickens she hangs around with. They even sleep on the ground with her instead of the perches available in the open coops..
Ducks quack from time to time .. I think what Sour means is they will quack "constantly", if you will.... i would also think you would see her acting agitated or possibly depressed, maybe not eating as much and staying by herself more, if she were lonely.. just speculation tho..
