Hemmie might like to have a scrambled egg or 2 every once in a while. Duck eggs are great for baked goods! I hope it’s just moody your seeing. You know how us females are with the hormones? Moody is just one symptom

Your Birds don't live outside? I just destroy the nest everyday and collect the eggs. I only hatch in the spring.
I toss out eggs or feed to my dogs.

Maybe you can make her an enclosed nesting box since she’s so small. You could have it enclosed on 3 sides and a roof she might like that for laying as long as she doesn’t sleep in it then you’d have to keep cleaning the poop bedding out. My ducks won’t use a box they like to just use the shavings in their coop.

Duck eggs are delicious. Some people that are sensitive to chicken eggs can eat duck eggs and vice versa.

We eat ours. One of my bartenders asks for duck eggs as her tip. Umm Ok no problem!

These are frozen eggs and poopy so not a big deal. I don't eat duck eggs.
