Is my Silver Laced Wyandotte a Hen or a Roo?

Thanks. Matt Dylan and Miss Kitty were a fun breed I added in. I'm sure they are long dead and gone. When I was gone for a high school trip someone stole every Silver-laced Wyandotte I had; the trio of breeding birds, seven or eight started birds, half a dozen chicks, and all the eggs the hens would have laid while I was gone for the weekend. It was very strange.

That’s horrible (and yes, very strange). I would be devastated. My chickens are my precious babies.

Ha ha! When I first posted these pictures, people thought they were both cockerels. Now more people are starting to tell me pullet. Either way, I hope you’re right! :fl
All the Wyandotte roosters I raised had way more comb and wattle development. Pullets tend to pink up early and freak people out. Usually in roosters the color over the shoulders is muddy and there isn't clean lacing. I haven't had a silver laced rooster yet, only one blue and one gold laced.

Here are the latest images of Agatha and Maisie! Taken today (they were 12 weeks old last Wednesday). Not sure if you guys can notice any changes from last time, but thought I’d keep you updated ;).

I also included a few of them in the coop (the first two coop shots show Agatha better and the third one shows Maisie better).

Hello all! An update on Maisie and Agatha. Still no crowing or any other obvious signs to point me in one direction or another. My boy, Gerard (Buff Orpington and the same age as Maisie and Agatha) hasn’t started crowing yet, but the little bantam crosses in the pen attached to the main coop/run have been giving it a try (I’ve heard/seen 3 or 4 of them ‘crowing’ and they are 7 weeks younger than everyone else).
Anyhoo, here are last week’s portraits of Maisie and Agatha...

Hi I've been following your Agatha and Maisie updates... Did they turn out to be pullets? I have 3 slw and 3 glw and all 3 of the silvers have developed the red combs and wattles and all 3 of the holds haven't so I'm wondering if mylaybe the silvers get the red faces earlier? I think at least one of my silvers is a boy, fairly sure the other one is a swell and the third one has been quite confused but hoping it's a girl lol. Mine are about 9 week old so have a bit more waiting to do I think. Tricky little chookies!

Ack! I’ve forgotten to let you all know ... Yup, both Agatha and Maisie are pullets (Agatha has started laying but not Maisie yet ;)). So keep your fingers crossed!
