Color wise, I'm thinking that is a pullet....and I'm thinking 15 +/- a bit will be going to FIL. Odysseus is going on my future names list, along with an assortment of others I'm pondering....and keeping under wraps until decisions are made (and genders are known). Will definitely use the name at some point.
Thanks that sweet. Glad you like it.

One order from Bob and they instantly do... exactly as they like :lau
Tonight I talked them into going to bed. They were on the chair again and I went out and we had a conversation and after a while I told them to go to bed. Niamh led the walk to the coop this time. I did not carry anyone. They did get chest rubs while on the chair though. 🥰

Well, Cardhu appears to be done. She laid an egg today and is up on the high roost tonight. Her trio are up where they spent the night last night. I think the trio would be welcomed for warm up with Focus and/or PITA, but will bear watching.
Not quite 4 weeks right? If so, Sydney was done at 4 weeks. So I've seen that before.

Nights have been holding temps until just before sunrise, so they should be fine. If not, both PITA and Focus are responding to chick in distress calls, so ....:idunno chicks were allowed to follow Cardhu except when she went to lay the egg. She got them up off the ground at night, then decided everything's good.

These two are such cute little characters. I've never seen chickens like them before.
They look look as if they are about to speak. If they did it wouldn't surprise me
