Is Nugget a roo?

Nugget is a three weeks old Buff Orpi and we're starting to have suspicions that they're a rooster (or cockerel at this point.) Is there anyway to tell this or is it too early? We were sold them as pullets but I know these local hacteries can make those mistakes. They're getting their waddles already so I was thinking roo but I dunno.

Cockerel. A pullet this age wouldn't have that much comb development.

Dang, that kinda sucks but is kinda cool. We weren't really looking for babies but I guess that'll be ok. I just hope other ones aren't roos. Nugget is our only Buff. Other chicks have combs but not as big as his so I'm hoping they aren't roos.

Significant comb and wattles growth at 6 weeks or younger are cockerels. You won't get chicks unless you incubate the eggs or let the hens set. If you collect eggs daily you won't have to worry about chicks.

Yeah I get that. I might go take pictures of other chicks and get them identified.
