hmm I bought them as americaunas but will be sure if I decide to rehome them I will as Easter EggersYeah it's another case of the wrong spelling. The true breed that is accepted by the American Poultry Association is spelled Ameraucana. There's no 'i' in it. They are very lovely and I hope you get lots of pretty eggs. Personally, I love how you don't know what color they will lay. For me it's one of the best things about EEs. I've got 4 EE pullets now and I can't wait till spring to see what they will lay. My EE hen is a dud and has never laid an egg.
