Liz Taylor, probably the smartest of the bunch, and the most loving. Totally *not* an Araucana!

The lady i got her from had Orpingtons and Ameracunas in little breeding pens in her yard. I'm pretty sure the chocolate got into the peanut butter on a couple of hatches.:)
She's a beaut! Her coloring is somewhat like one of my Buff Orps, maybe I'll get lucky and get some green eggs

Lol, I'll try not to get my hopes up though

Oops sorry, didn't see your post, read my mind I suppose, lol
She's a cutie, what color egg does she lay?

Pretty green eggs, about 4+ days a week. She laid her first egg at 24 weeks. My other EE laid at 23 (also green eggs).

My EE girls are the ones who are figuring out the dog door, and I expect to find them inside the house any day.

Those are some lovely EEs. And in case you didn't already know, the one standing up straight in the very back is a male.
Thank you for the info :) hmm I bought them as americaunas but will be sure if I decide to rehome them I will as Easter Eggers

Yeah it's another case of the wrong spelling. The true breed that is accepted by the American Poultry Association is spelled Ameraucana. There's no 'i' in it. They are very lovely and I hope you get lots of pretty eggs. Personally, I love how you don't know what color they will lay. For me it's one of the best things about EEs. I've got 4 EE pullets now and I can't wait till spring to see what they will lay. My EE hen is a dud and has never laid an egg. I've been waiting almost 2 years for a green egg.
