Is she broody?

Update: She's been in the cage since yesterday. She is poofed up on the roost we have in there. Do I take the roost out during the day and put it in at night? She was poofed out on the ground but then went to the roost. But since she got a bath I don't know.

She should be fine on the roost as long as it's not so wide that she's completely laying down on it. She's gonna be puffed out while she remains broody.
Thank you and I dont think it's that wide. It pretty much fits just her feet. And I tried putting her in the coop tonight but she went straight for the best so now shes back in the cage. I'm just waiting until she lays an egg at this point cause then I know she broke broodyness lol

She won't lay for several weeks after she's broken. Best way to know if she's broken is if she doesn't go back to the nests once she's let out, and voluntarily roosts at night.

She keeps ticking on the roost and is still puffed out. So when she stops doing this she isnt broody anymore?
