My muscovy duckling bella is in very bad shape, shes got a limp (to the point where she doesn't want to get up if she doesn't have to) she's also barely got feathers on her back because of my drake.. i separated him last night. she also has a very dry and noticeable guck on both her eyes, my other duck marshmallow also has it but not as noticeable. its dry and yellowish? please help.. cannot provide pictures right now!

Does Bella have bumble foot?

Can they both dunk their heads in water ? very important they keep their eyes and nares clear.

I'd get both females away from the drake for a time to recover. you can try a warm saline wash over the eyes to soften the gunk then gently use a warm wet soft rag and clean their eyes out then I'd use some Terramycin eye ointment in their eyes. Thin film around the outside lid. Saline wash is 1/8th teaspoon to 1 cup of warm water and just pour it over the eyes.

No, i checked bella and she does not seem to have bumblefoot, and where can i get this stuff? (yes they have full access to outdoors and are always playing in the pond, swamp, and creek)

You can buy the saline for eyes for people who use contacts or make it yourself. the Terramycin can be found on line or Most TSC should have it if your in the US. Do you give the fresh buckets of water too? Maybe the drake injured Bella when trying to mate? can you see any swelling or redness or abnormal heat in her leg from top to bottom?

There is a little red swelling on the part where her leg was hurting and i thought he was trying to mate her to since he is actually only attracted to her.. yet he hurts her, yes they get fresh bucket water at night when they are in the coop.

Yep they can get overly carried away when mating. If you could get a pic it sure would help. But maybe try some warm Epsom salt soaks and rest. and keep mr lover boy away so they both have time to recoup. Unless he doesn't mess with the other female. But drakes will even injure their eyes too grabbing any where to hold on. I'd use a gal bucket put a cup of Epsom salt and warm water so it's right up to top of her legs place her both feet in to the bucket since it's a lot easier doing both. Try and hold her there at least 5-10 mins. Do this 1-2 times a day and hopefully with rest too she'll begin using her leg.
