Is something wrong or am I being a Mother Hen?

I am very new to raising chicks. I got my first set of chicks this past Monday. I got 6 bantams and 8 brown egg layers. I still do not know which breeds they are yet. Last night, however, we lost one of our bantams. Completely out of the blue. She was acting normal, just like the rest of them, and then boom. She was gone. I didn't realize how attached to them I got so quickly until I found her gone.

And one, (I've only noticed one so far) has diarrhea. And some of my chicks are very loud. They are making loud peeps like someone is picking them up and turning them upside down. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. The temp in the brooder is good. They are not telling me that they are too hot or too cold. They have fresh food and water. And I'm making sure that I'm keeping the bedding nice and clean. So I don't know if this is something that just happens, or if something is wrong. I would love any help or advice or ANYTHING that I can get!

Ok. Thank you so much. I'm just such a worrier and after losing our one bantam I'm just a nervous wreck. But thank you for calming me down.
