Hi, my duck Stormy is Picked on a lot by my drake ducks. The last couple days I have noticed when I pick her up, that she has a bump on her chest or on her spine. I’ve never noticed it there before. Is something wrong with her? is there something I need to do? the red on the second picture is about were I think the bump is

It sounds as if you need to separate her from the drakes. Very likely they are overbreeding her. She looks to be in very poor condition.

I have the females separated from the drakes during the day, I have them together at night and during meal time when I can watch them. Is that okay?

Going by the looks of her, it's not okay. How many drakes do you have, and how many ducks ? Drakes gang breeding a duck hen can injure her, and if in swimming water can inadvertently drown her.

Ok, I have 2 drakes and 6 females.

If you are trying to get fertile eggs, my advice is two separate pens for the drakes, and then choose which ducks go with each drake. Ducks are ever so much more civilized in separate families.

If they can see all the other ducks from their cage, they will still think they are all one flock. I have walk-out cages, so I can open the door and let them out, one pen at a time. They stick close to their buddies in the cage, probably so they can brag, "ha, ha, we're out and you're not."

If you want to change your arrangement of ducks to drakes, remember that ducks get stressed out by change, and don't do it too often. I change mine only 2-3 times a year for breeding purposes. The good part is that because they see everyone all the time, changing the arrangement is less stressful.

She looks rough please don’t let them continue to abuse her keep them separated at night also. A pen for females a pen for drakes.

I can’t afford to do another pen for the drakes. This is the best I can do for during day, even though it’s a little cramped for the drake’s. For night time I will block off one corner of the duck house for the drakes.

How long did it take after the picture was shot for the drakes to jump over that little doggy gate?

Because if they haven't already, they will.

Not trying to be judgemental by all means, but the setup you have now provides them with very little space to do "duck things" and live a happy life.
