Is something wrong with my duck?

Too bad you couldn’t set the females up in your garage at night, just for a little while so she can recover.
We had to do this with one of our females. She was very sick and the drakes would constantly try to mate her at night. They will take advantage of a sick hen.

We have 2 drakes and 4 females and they get along just fine. The ratio seems to be fine with what you have but maybe your drakes are really aggressive .

Could you let them free range for a bit during the day? Give them a break

How long did it take after the picture was shot for the drakes to jump over that little doggy gate?

Because if they haven't already, they will.

Not trying to be judgemental by all means, but the setup you have now provides them with very little space to do "duck things" and live a happy life.

I’ve had the gate up off and on for the last couple weeks and they have never tried to get over it. A lot of the time one of my drakes sits on one side of the gate and his girl will sit right on the other side of the gate.

Our female ended up having bumble foot which led to a joint infection. We had to do two rounds of antibiotics. Is she eating/drinking/walking?

I do let them free range but it’s mostly when I have them out in the morning and evening to feed them. Yes. She is eating, drinking and walking. Oh and quacking!

Hi, my duck “Stormy” is doing much better. Her feathers are coming back in real nice again, all but her tail feathers. Thank for your help.
