I have 1 1/2 year old Silkie hen that I bought 3 months ago. I let her hatch some chicks. After the chicks were hatched I immediately put out medicated Chick starter in her area. Since then when she poops she has a large normal movement and then immediately following a watery brown poop. I was thinking that maybe it is the change in food. I am new to this so just wanted to know if this is normal? The chicks are 3 to 5 days old.
