Is there anybody in this egg?

I came back from the store fully expecting the little peep to have moved on, but it's STILL kicking up a storm in there. It looks nothing like the eggs I've tried to rescue incubate in the past, but as @WVduckchick explained, a saddled membrane could be why. There were only two tiny pinprick spots of amber colored stuff on it, the consistency of dried hot glue. Is this going to be how the zombie apocalypse starts?! Me and a zombie duckie hoard are the beginning of the end?! (I learned we have to laugh at things sometimes 💖, even if our hearts are heavy).
I was thinking the same thing. @WVduckchick would be the best one to answer this question about the yellow stuff. I haven't ever seen any of that but she's got lots more experience than I had. I can't wait to see what hatches! Maybe a little alien!

Can you post a photo of the dried material? So odd. Those videos definitely showed movement. Whats your temp/humidity? Are you using a calibrated thermometer and humidity gauge? Its so, so odd that there's no veining. I was totally gonna say dead egg, but then I saw the video and totally changed my mind. Incredible.
I have 2 digital thermometers in there, they both read at about 99.5°. Humidity is about 70%.

@Miss Lydia thanks for the tag! I have never seen anything like this. Hope the little (possible alien) duckling hatches! :p
That really is the most bizarre thing I’ve seen!
I've been sitting here staring into the makeshift incubator for a good 45 minutes, watching this thing move around. I swear, not only am I weird, I swear I draw in weird occurrences. I wish I had an x-ray machine right now, but then I would risk an Incredible Hulk Duck situation. I really, really, really hope it hatches, and really, really, really, really hope it's a duck. Nothing else would drop off an egg in the bottom of a wood duck box, would it? I'm afraid if I keep staring at it something is going to jump out at me.

Wondering if I should put my little humidifier in there and really crank the humidity. I wonder if the membrane is really thick and maybe the little guy is shrink wrapped. (Just intuition and observation from turning it around a million times). Oh, also, it gets weirder- the crystallized spots only happen on the bottom part of the egg on one side. 🤔

Just saying I uncovered snake eggs in the compost once.
