I hate that Christmas is so commercial. They don't even Thanksgiving/harvest decorations in stores anymore, it's all Christmas.
I am making most of the gifts I'm giving this year. People tend to remember those gifts anyway, not the store bought ones. Everyone else is getting something that costs no more than $15, except for my husband, who I will spend more on.
I decorate inside the house. Sometimes I put lights on our cedar fence, sometimes I don't. I refuse to decorate until December 1.
