Is this a Barred Rock?

I'm new to all of this but we have one BR hen and several months ago she looked just like this as a chick. Our BR is such a good hen too, she was one of the first ones that would follow us around the yard and come to us without calling.

It appears to have a single comb. Her legs are yellow with a splash of black down the front. BR pullet maybe?

Looks like a BR pullet to me (unless it has a rose comb, then Dominique). Yellow legs are what a BR should have, as should a Dom. Cuckoo Marans have white legs.

updated pics, I'm beginning to think she's a Roo, what do you think? She's the first one of my bunch (5 weeks old now) whose comb is turning red.

Barred Rock Pullet. She has dark barring, so she's a she.

Another newby here.....Proud mom to 2 barred rocks, 2 silkies, 2 polish crested and 2 EE's.....

Question, what does dark barring mean?? I am still trying to determine if my 2 BRs are hens.

BR pullet.

Paltinas.......dark barring means more black than white. Male BR's have more white than black in their barring.
