So when I got the two ducks I knew that the three black ducklings in the bin weren't any of the breeds that Tractor Supply told me they were. I got one in hopes of some dark colored eggs and maybe possibly a Cayuga. I emailed Tractor Supply to ask more about it and they said I got a Black Runner. I was actually pretty happy about it once I learnt more about the breeds and saw the hilariously adorably runner fashion shows in Sydney.
So far though she hasn't even remotly started walking like all the other black runners I see online. I'm so confused and with an extremely large amount of confusion about 5 chicks I got from Tractor Supply recently I have learnt that they have no idea what they are selling and really don't control it that well. Their customer service is super nice though so thats a plus. But still I'm very confused. And now that shes growing feathers she has ONE white feather in the middle of her back comming in. Its so random. Can anyone shed some light on her? Is she a runner who hasn't stood up yet? Or another black breed? Is there a such thing as all black Swedish's? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!
