And your OES have yellow skin, no crest, red earlobes, and barring? I assume your OEs have CCLB blood..?Any chance it's a Olive Egger? My OE's have looked just like that every time I get them from feed store.

BSLs are sexlinked, so yes, your cockerel is indeed a boy. He also checks off all the boxes for a BSL. Your other BSL is a pullet. Needless to say, you are spot on with all your observations.Hmmm… I’m not sure. I am assuming he is a cockerel bc he has the super red and large waddles at 8 weeks compared to all my other sexlink hens. He was in the bin at the feedstore with the black sexlinks, and while they all were solid black, he had a tiny white spot on the back of his head which is found on male black sexlinks.
