Haha .that's ironic , I was just looking up what spike was ! Lol
Just give it time.He keeps trying to get up but can't straighten his foot he is peeping a lot do you think it'll fix?
Ok thanks much.Just give it time.
Their legs get all cramped up in there and it takes them a while to get up on their feet.
Sometimes when they are real wobbly like that I go ahead and put them on a paper towel in a small tupperware bowl or something like that so they can't flop all over the place and hurt themselves until they get a bit stronger.
if he starts flopping more I'll put him in a Tupperware. I'll keep watching him and see how he looks when all fluffy. He is peeping alot and trying to push himself up with his good leg.I would just leave him in the incubator for a few hours and see how he does. Hatching is hard work for a tiny dux.Ok thanks much.if he starts flopping more I'll put him in a Tupperware. I'll keep watching him and see how he looks when all fluffy. He is peeping alot and trying to push himself up with his good leg.
Yay!! I hope his legs get better! Very cute, and long awaited, duck! What will you name him/her?He just got out ten minutes ago yolk absorbed. He isn't doing very good. He appears to have a bad leg. I'm not sure if it'll fix...
