New Hampshire red pullet. Here’s some updated pictures. She has pretty much the smallest comb of all my birds. She’s 10 weeks now. Still think she could be a roo?

I was worried about the feathers on her neck, didn’t know if those were hackle feathers coming in. I’ve never heard of a New Hampshire Red, I’ll have to Google it. I just hope she’ll do ok in our Phoenix summer!New Hampshire red pullet.
I think I have the same thing. I bought 2 RIR chicks and one is lighter than the other.I’m assuming it’s the mix your talking about! (Also we think the darker one is a rooster, might be a little too early to tell though what are your thoughts?)I've found that Buff/RIR mixes are very common in hatcheries. Could be something like that. She sure looks the same color as my Buff/RIR babies did. She seems a bit to light to be RIR, but definitely to dark to be Buff. We'll have to wait and see!
ISA Browns would have white feathers, and production reds would be darker.I just looked up the pictures in the Hoover Hatchery website and she looks more like an ISA Brown or a Production Red.
Chick #1 looks to be a rooster. It is to early to get a definite guess, but we'll have to see if how he turns out!I think I have the same thing.
