That is brown.
Light brown, but brown nonetheless.

Definitely not a California White, though she is a beautiful bird. My California White, Cali, came from Privett Hatchery and was purchased at a feed store. She lays ginormous pure white eggs daily. Very friendly, quiet, curious, fun personality, gets along well with all the hens - great for any backyard flock. Highly recommend California White hens.
