Is this a cockerel?

Bought as an Americana pullet but it’s started trying to crow, which I know hens can do, but also way bigger than the others and the four others come running when it calls. There are five in this group. The Americana, two EE, a barred rock and a Starling Green egger. Here are some pics. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this!

A pretty boy but a boy nonetheless 😉.
 
I thought that a hen crowing was extremely rare except with very select breeds. I have only heard of female seramas crowing with any frequency. Have I been wrong all this time? 😅
