Is this a detached egg cell??

i'll post a pic tonight as I have to candle when its dark out because i don't have a dark room anywhere in the house - i usually wait until dark and then go into the bathroom...I'll do that tonight and you can tell me if you see anything...really appreciate that...

Try not to worry about it; incubating is pretty stressful (especially the first time) and I think that the fear that it's all no good and you're not going to get a single baby out of all that work and worrying is typical. I know I sure felt that way the first time! But I had a better than average hatch rate and now I'm much less uptight about it. It'll get better.

And be careful with the pic-taking. The only thing worse than thinking you've got a dud is dropping it and finding out it wasn't.
