I wouldn't pay 50 dollars a chick, I might for a full sized hen. Egg Color is not the only thing to look at when breeding though.

I think that BCM's are great investments and we enjoy them as well as our other prime chickens like Welsummers and heritage chickens. Just my 2 cents.

if yall dont mind id like to weight in on the 50 dollar chick deal a while ago i would have have said better nottttt but the chicken business is like crazy rigth know if you got em you can make some serious money here in bama at least my example is this every three weeks we go to the stock yard and sell out the back of the truck my brother in law had two cobb meat chickens he got for free people were fighting over em he wound up with 20 a piece for something the hatrchery kill 3000 of here a day because of a spot on the head or something silly plus he got 5 dollars a piece for one day old bittys he made 300 dollars in 5 minutes yeeee i know would pay that for something worthy right know
