Definitely not a cream legbar pullet. There can be white sports of legbars but to my knowledge they are not auto sexing like the cream legbars are.

I have Cream Legbars and have hatched them, and that doesn't even look like a Legbar chick, and if it is, it's certainly not a Legbar pullet since they have very dark coloring, a dark chipmunk stripe and a dark triangle on their heads. The boys are a much duller color, no definite pattern, and a light head. This chick appears that it could be a White Leghorn or a Buff Orpington.

that's exactly what I was thinking that it doesn't look anything like a cream legbar....i am hoping for a white legbar at least......i bought a few diff kinds of chicks total of 10 chicks....6 from a homestead breeder where the "legbar" came from and 4 from tsc and was promised all to be pullets (I understand it's not always exact) but my plan was to have many different colored eggs and was very much looking forward to blue ones and now I am getting nervous that I was played cause it was pretty obv by my questions and concerns with how to properly raise them that I had not done this be4....i hope I didn't get taken advantage of....or at the very least I really hope to all be girls.....i paid like 5x the amount for the "legbar" as I did the others

thank you everyone for all of your help so far.....i will take more pictures with better lighting when I get home. in fact I will take a picture of all of them for you guys to look at for me....i have 10 total and i should have 8 different kinds I know i have 2 white leghorns and 2 goldlaced Wyandotte those I am sure of. I am a chef and don't get off work till aprox 10pm EST tonight but I will definitely take more pictures and post as soon as I cam....thank you so very much again for any help you can give me.

Hi. I recently ordered cream legbar pullets from McMurray hatchery. I didn't get what I ordered, but I got some that look like yours. I'm certain they're NOT cream legbar pullets, but I'm not sure what they sent me. So I'm interested in anything that you find out. I hope they're frost white legbar... I'd be okay with that.

I got this one and 5 others 2 gold laced wayondottes 1 easter egger 1 jersey giant and 1 splash maran (from what he said i will be posting pics later) from a local "hachery" near me I put in quotes because talking on the phone he seemed very nice and knolageable but apon arriving i could tell it didnt seem like a "professional" hatchery as there were no signs and was out of his house with him and his wife nevertheless he seemed to know what he was talking about he seemed to be kind and seemed to love the birds ...seemed to be the only one around without ordering online and had some positive reviews on facebook as well as able to charge a creditcard from the name of his buisness. I had placed an order over the phone to be picked up the following week and had put a down payment on them. I was a little nervous when I had arrived because it wasn't exactly what I was expecting but like I said they were kind and willing to talk to me show me their birds and give me any information I had asked about. seemed like good people (in no way am I saying they werent) just not sure if he was a "professional" or had the ability to properly sex chicks as I know it can be difficult. I decided to give him a chance because of the kind of person he seemed. I like to promote small local businesses and i am still optomistic that everything will be what I had asked for but I am still a little nervous as I really wasn't looking to have any roos I only wanted eggs, I am a chef but I have a huge heart for all animals and it would be very hard for me to cull any (I know the day will come eventually but not looking forward to it). like I said still optimistic but still have some doubts too

yes I would be happy with a frost white legbar as well. when I was selecting breeds I was attempting to have many different colored eggs that was my goal.....one thing I haven't said yet is that this little chick I have been referring to seems to be lethargic and not the healthiest. after reading alot on this site I think it may be cocci so I have been treating my whole flock for about 2 days now and feeding her(i hope its a her lol) some scrambled eggs for some extra protien and it does seem to be improving but I also read some people have had problems creating healthy white legbar too so that may be the issue as well.....fingers crossed I am going to continue to do my best to give it the best life I can but my big fear at this point is that all this worry and love in my heart and work and it may not be what I wanted at all and could in fact be a male and then I am not sure what I am going to have to do.....
