Is this a Roo? 6 week old Mosaic mix

This chick is a mixture of an EE and Mosaic. Due to the comb and wattle size I always assumed it was female, but look at it's pointy tail feathers! That means it's gotta be a male right? Note, it's a Fibromelanistic breed so redness of the comb and face is not a factor i can rely on.

That's what I thought too but the older "she" gets the more pointy tail feathers she gets. And her sister has very round feathers, along with every other female chick I've ever raised

No. You're looking for pointed saddle and hackle feathers, not tail feathers. The male tail feathers (sickles) wouldn't come in till much later.

No, the pointed tail feathers don’t mean anything
