Yes, but let's quit discussing the matter. That exact point has been made more than enough times.@CHlCKEN was only making a point, listing the differences.

Always a good idea to read the whole thread or at least skim and make sure what you want to say hasn’t already been said anything before commenting.I came in late.

Understandable! Just for the future it’d be a good ideaI was tired, & didn't think of it .
What I really need to know is if you think it's a girl or a boy. And if it's too early to tell, about when will it be evident? I don't care what breed it is - it's pretty and it's a pet - but I appreciate the breed suggestions since we know zip/nada. We rescued it and it has a pretty nice lifestyle at our house. I don't intend to breed or show - just enjoyI’m sorry you took offense in her comment, however...
You were incorrect about the breed, and she corrected that. Not snidely, mockingly, crudely, imprudently, or harshly. Merely, simple and to the point. We have no problem with neutral remarks here on BYC - because, although it would be fun, I agree - unfortunately not everyone is bursting with rainbows at every moment.
It’s not a matter of opinions. The chicken is one breed - not two different ones, based on people‘s opinions. It was not a Silver Spangled Hamburg. That much is clear.
Thanks - we think so too. Now that I had something to google on Golden Sebright - it does look like that. And I would love for it to be a her.Golden sebright, and probably a pullet. She's a cutie.
