Is this a Roo or Hen?

Hi- our chicken has been acting a little strange the past few weeks he or she is the last one in the coop at night and comes in and out often before going to bed. Tonight we heard a different noise come from it right before it flew onto the roof of the coop. Wondering if it's a roo?

Looks like a lovely pullet.

What breed? It looks like a pullet to me (notice the short wattle and comb, long tail). I'm guessing Isa Brown or RIR?

It's behaviour sounds normal to me. Chickens have habits like staying out late and stuff. They're all individuals. Can I see some pics of other chooks? Might be able to sex them for you.

This is most definitely a hen. Roos have long feathers on their necks and she doesn't. I have a couple like her that do the same thing.
