Is this egg fertile?

I orginally thought my duck eggs were fertile.i saw veins(i think) but now i’m not so sure. My broody silkie has been sitting on them for about 2 weeks maybe 3. I should have noted the date but forgot. Any thoughts?

Both look pretty similar. Its a silkie so she can only really handle two duck eggs.

I found this so I screen shot it for you. I can't say for sure what is going on in your egg.. but that air cell looks large. It's possibly a gonner but I don't want to say in case I am wrong. I'm sure someone else who is more sure will come along. Does the egg look mushy inside on the dark bit?

I’ve looked at those photos online too and its still hard to compare. Egg doesn’t look mushy, also feels heavier.

It looks like a saddle air cell.

Shipped egg?
What day of incubation?

Yes look at the other end and see if you can see any veins and movement.

If you are not sure id leave it be. If it's solid then it sounds ok.

It looks fertilised because the dark patch looks too dark to be just a yolk sac.
