I found a wood pigeon egg that had fallen out of the nest but was caught on a lower branch and slightly cracked yesterday. Sealed it us with candle wax and candled it yesterday. I could see the yoke but nothing else, but today I did the same and there is a red line developing. Does this mean it is alive? I have built a sort of make-shift incubator, but what should I do?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
