Is this eye worm and does Vet RX really work?

I live in the hot, humid, south and Caledonia loves to eat palmetto bugs (aka roaches). Do you think this is chicken eye worm and if so, does VetRX really work or do I need to get her to the vet?

yes vet rx works for eye worm and i am not sure if that is it or not I can't see it too good in the pic. my ameraucana pullet had eye worm last year and I was told to put the vet rx 3 drops directly into the eye for 3 days the first week and then 3 drops 2 x the second week. on the second week there was a little white ball that came out of the corner of her eye it was hard. like a big pimple core, she was fine after that. never had another problem with her.

When you say "came out" did you have to squeeze the eye or did it just come out on it's own? I hate to bother her because she doesn't seem to notice the bump yet. I would hate for her to start scratching at it because I irritate it.

no I didnt have to squeeze it out she did scratch it and when she did it rolled out.
